Our Ceremony Venue!

We have booked our ceremony venue, yay!
I'm super excited about the location - it is so beautiful
and the atmosphere is perfect for our intimate, southern
style ceremony and family dinner. Our dream
wedding is actually becoming a reality!

Here are the details:

Wedding Ceremony

Date:  Saturday, November 10, 2012
Time:  6pm
Location:  Degas House Courtyard, Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans

Before we made any decisions pertaining to our marriage, Mitchell and I had a heart-to-heart discussion about our dream wedding. We talked about the things that we wanted and what would make us happy and decided that a big, traditional wedding just isn't our style.

Although many people may disagree, having a huge ceremony in a beautiful church is not all that important to the two of us - we want our ceremony to be special, unique, and most importantly, shared with the individuals closest to our hearts. So we finally decided that an intimate ceremony in a New Orleans courtyard would be the perfect fit, and after seeing the venue, I know that we made the right decision. I couldn't be happier and more importantly, I am sure that the two of us and our guests will forever remember this special day.

Here are a few pictures of the ceremony venue!

So many ideas...how to choose just one?

My Dilemma: Choosing a style that (1) I can use for all of my wedding stationery, and (2) I can construct from scratch that will look professionally made.

I finally decided that I am going to make our ceremony save-the-date cards from scratch, so I headed to a few craft stores to purchase supplies. I was overwhelmed to say the least. I had so many ideas bouncing around in my head, so I bought wayyyyy to much stuff - card stock, tags, ribbon, labels, accent stickers and cutouts, stamp kits, pens, paper punches, and so on. Then I made the mistake of searching for designs on Pinterest. I am now even more scatter-brained than I was before I began the save-the-date process, ugh! What's a girl to do?

Here are some stationery styles that I'm loving...

Any suggestions or feedback? I need all the help I can get!
